The Achielle Babette is a "sportier" take on the Dutch bike. The Babette features a 3-speed Sturmey Archer hub, alloy rims, and a Selle Royal gel saddle. All Achielle frames use hand-drawn tubes which are then hand-brazed, galvanized, hand-painted, hand-assembled using trusted components.

ACHIELLE COMPANY HISTORY: Achielle have been making bikes since 1946. Starting from humble beginnings in a family owned bicycle shop in Zwevezele to the present modern factory in Pittem (Egem). The inspiration for Achielle bicycles stems from the early 20th century Dutch bikes and then combining these with modern technological advances. What makes Achielle truly special is that all steel frames are still produced in their own factory. From steel tube to complete bicycle all under one roof.
