WIth every SP hub, the goal is to innovate, refine, and redefine. The PD-8X certainly makes its mark by building from the conceptual practice of using minimal amounts of material while still creating structural soundness and competitive efficiency. The 8X is specifically designed for Fat Bikes or bikes with a 150mm fork width. The hub is also specified for a 6-bolt disc brake pattern. For those late night mid-winter trail rides, you could do no better than the SP PD-8X.
